Coming of Age : Expression which qualifies the passage from adolescence to the adulthood through our first love story. For the girls and the boys of LGBTQ communities, this moment is all the more important that it comes along with the difficulties bound to the coming-out. Managing the adrenalin of the first emotions are then disrupted by the increase of stress that the attraction for a someone of the same sex engenders. This period remains even today a difficult test for numerous teenagers who are sometimes victims of harassment or who can even be rejected by their own family. It is thus this period of the life of the young people from the LGBTQ community that the Piotr Film festival has for ambition to share with the public, through a hundred of short movies (between 3 and 60 minutes). Comedies, dramas, music-videos, documentaries, animation…, coming from the 4 corners of the globe. No voyeurism, no exhibition, just the recognition of love for what it is, because we are all same in the face of love, no matter our sexual orientation.

Festival open to physical persons over 18 years old. The FREE registration is now open and will close on April 18th, 2018. The official screenings will be made on May 18th, 19th and 20th, 2018, at the luxuous Luxor – Palais du Cinema, in Paris. The names of the prize-winners will be revealed during the Party that will mark the end of the Festival on May 20th, 2018. The name of the personalities who will empanel the Jury, the list of the subsidies for the various awarded Prices and the full program of the festival will be communicated in March, 2018.
Piotr Media is a non-profit organization of cultural interests. Publisher of Ninja magazine between 2005 and 2014, Piotr Media has discovered, published and accompanied in their course, more than 1500 artists, photographers, illustrators and performers. Ninja was the first magazine to have been published in PDF on the Internet, gathering 1,8 million readers from the four corners of the world. The actress and Icon Marisa Berenson was its godmother. We also assist the young entrepreneurs in building a strong visual identity.
