Paris is hosting the 1st international LGBTQ ♥ Coming of Age
It is the COMING OF AGE period of the young people from the LGBTQ communities, that Paris' first international LGBTQ ♥ Coming of Age short-films festival (PIOTR PARIS) has for ambition to share with its public, through a hundred of short movies (between 3 and 60 minutes).
Comedies, dramas, music-videos, documentaries, animation…, coming from the 4 corners of the globe (USA, France, Iran, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Korea, Myanmar, etc...).
No voyeurism, no exhibition, just the recognition of love for what it is, because LOVE DOESN'T NEED MULTIPLE LABELS: in the face of love, everyone is equal, no matter our sexual orientation. Everyone should have the freedom to love and to pursue their happiness.
« For the girls and the boys of the LGBTQ communities, Coming of Age is all the more important that it comes along with the difficulties bound to the coming-out. Managing the adrenalin of the first emotions are then disrupted by the increase of stress that the attraction for someone of the same sex engenders. This period remains even today a difficult test for numerous teenagers who are sometimes victims of harassment or who can even be rejected by their own family. »
PIOTR PARIS is organized by Piotr Media (← click), who is already responsible for Ninja magazine (← click), the first photography magazine to be published on the Internet in 2004.
Ninja gathered more than 1.8 million readers around the world and had for Godmother the actress and Icon Marisa Berenson (← click)
